West Wales Motorcycle Show History

The Carmarthen and District Motorcycle Club was formed in 1996. Our aim is to encourage all forms of motorcycle activities; however, one of our main objectives is fundraising for local charities. We are pleased to be able to actively support several charities here in Wales; principally Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice, Wales Air Ambulance and Ferryside Inshore Life Boat.

Ty Hafan is a very special place, located in its own grounds on the banks of the Bristol Channel at Sully, near Barry to the west of Cardiff.

The Air Ambulance is wholly funded by public donation.

Ferryside Lifeboat is a charity that provides a 24 hour lifesaving service invaluable to the local community.

In 2006 we staged the first West Wales Motorcycle Show here in Carmarthen; since then we have donated a total of £13400 to these charities.
