Show presentation06 Nov 2009 The Prior to the presentation the chairman said that to organize the West Wales Motorcycle Show was not easy, therefore he paid a heartfelt thank you to the following; the Show committee who spent hundreds of unpaid hours, the Marshalls and the security on the day, the advance and the rear party who set the show field up and dismantled after the event, the advertisers who supported our programme, the stall holders and the local Motorcycle dealers, personnel of the Nant y Ci showground, the judges in the Bike and Classic Cars section , Town Mayor for his support ,who jointly opened the show, the raffle ticket sellers and to Jan Jones who sold 150 raffle books, and the paying public, without whom, we would have been in serious financially difficulties, also to all the main ring personnel who entertained the public in not ideal conditions , and any other persons not mentioned that put effort into making the show successful. To receive the cheques were Jan and Megan on behalf of the Air Ambulance, Phil Thomas on behalf of Ty Hafan and Eddie Rees representing Ferryside Life Boat. All responded by thanking the club for their generous donation and continuing support over the last three years, where donations like these keep individual charities afloat. To conclude the evening the chairman thanked the people for their attendance and hinted there could be a two day West Wales Motorcycle Show in 2010 ,to give the people of Carmarthen and district the opportunity to add their support along with hundreds of people that travelled from as far and wide as London, Bristol, Halifax and Birmingham. The evening was rounded off by a splendid buffet.
