Quiz night 2009.

Despite some atrocious weather 23 members turned out to support the 2009 club quiz held on Wednesday 11^th Nov at the Carmarthen Athletic club.

This was after a short meeting and for those that have attended previous quizzes knew that any chance of forming up a team from individual strengths were soon to be dashed as all names went into a hat to be drawn out into teams.

We had six teams battling it out to see who would become the 2009 clever dicks of the year.

There was a hard fought battle between the teams, How fast Officer, Wild Hedgehogs, The Dipsticks, Honda Heads, Whats Its and Pot Lucks. With the winning team Wild Hedgehogs storming away to take the 2009 quiz award, Dilys Lewis, Trevor Stainsby and George Furlong. They took home cash prizes and a bottle to keep out the cold. George had a bottle of Lemonade. For second place we had to have a tie break question with team Honda Heads taking the second place. Team Pot Luck took home the wooden spoons. Not to worry it was the taking part that counts!!
